Khushi Baby: a connected pendant that centralises children’s health data, which can then be accessed by health workers using a mobile app and by health authorities
via a dashboard interface.
ACTION
• Khushi Baby,
winner of eHealth Observatory awards in 2017 and 2019, is now receiving increased funding and technical support to expand the solution in the Udaipur district
to include around 1,000 villages
and 600,000 beneficiaries by 2022.
ACHIEVEMENTS IN 2020
• Rollout in the state of Rajasthan to provide medical follow-up for more than 200,000 mothers and children
• 66% increase in immunisation coverage
• 26% decrease in malnutrition cases
• The digital census module has been adapted and used in Covid-19 screening campaigns among the most vulnerable populations
• Khushi Baby was selected as lead technical support partner by the Rajasthan Medical, Health & Family Welfare Department in 2020
