15/10/2024

On 14 October 2024, the Fondation Pierre Fabre awarded prizes to 6 associations in the Occitanie region, selected as part of its annual call for regional projects. These projects promote access to healthcare for disadvantaged populations and development in Senegal, Burkina Faso, Laos, Guinea-Conakry, Benin and Madagascar.

For the ninth consecutive year, the Fondation Pierre Fabre has selected international initiatives led by associations based in the Occitanie region, working in the fields of health and development. The 2024 call for projects was launched in partnership with La Guilde, an incubator for international solidarity micro-projects run by French associations, which is helping to co-finance the projects with the Pierre Fabre Foundation. The total budget for this year’s grants is €123,000.

The winners received their awards on 14 October at the “Agora des solidarités internationals”, organised by Occitanie Coopération, the regional network for international cooperation and solidarity.

Since the call for projects was launched, 46 associations have received grants. The total amount of grants awarded since 2016 is just over half a million euros.
